“The Miraculous Catch of Fish”

BOLT: Vacation Bible School - Week 3

Note:

The grapes in your packet are not meant to be eaten, but meant to be used to play “The Great Grape Race”!

For the game “Fishy Face” you will need some cool whip!

Part 1:

Opening with Miss Debbie

PART 2:

Games with…

Miss Carrie, Caroline, Joe, Jack, Tammy Woodrumm, Joe Costas, Miss Carissa, Micah & Owen!

The Great Grape Race - Directions:

Take off socks and shoes.
Create a starting line and a turnaround point.
2 players must place one grape between their toes on each foot.
On “Go” the players must carefully race to a turnaround point and back without losing their grapes.
If they lose a grape, they can stop and put it back.
For each round, add another grape to each foot.
The first player to return with all of their grapes wins!

Fishy Face - Directions:

1 player puts whipped topping (cool whip) on their face like a beard.
Place a bowl of goldfish crackers about 15 feet away from them.
On “Go” the other player races from their partner to the bowl of goldfish, taking one cracker at a time, running back, and sticking it to their partner’s whipped topping covered face!
Work quickly before their beards fall off/melt!
See how many you can do in under 25 seconds!

Part 3:

Snacks

This week you got gummy worms, gold-fish crackers/pretzels and Capri-Sun! You can pretend to use the gummy worms as bait to catch the gold-fish crackers! And make sure to stay hydrated while you fish in the sun - with Capri-Sun!

Puppet Show with Andy & Mandy!

Dear Heavenly Father,we thank you for making us your disciples. Just like Peter, we want to listen to your words, follow, and obey. We want to share the Good news of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. Help us to know your Words to say, and to pray for all the people of our world who need to hear about you, their beautiful savior. Amen.
